Arnold Schwarzenegger filled a pothole, and CBS News tried to lie about it

To protect their completely false narrative that government can actually fix anything or do anything right, CBS News took it upon themselves to lie about Arnold Schwarzenegger filling a pothole that was "screwing up" vehicles for weeks in his Brentwood, California neighborhood.

Schwarzenegger's action to fill the pothole exposed government incompetence, so CBS News tried to claim that what the movie star actually filled with asphalt was a "utility trench" that was there from work that the local government was doing.

"The “giant pothole” that Arnold Schwarzenegger said he recently filled on a street in his Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood was actually a trench that had been dug for utility work, according to the city," the outlet wrote. But Schwarzenegger called BS on CBS.

“This [CBS News*] headline/tweet is bogus,” the 75-year-old superstar tweeted. “The story is correct – the utility work was finished in January. I filled in the hole 3 months later and the city left my fix in place.”

As Breitbart's John Nolte commented, "To CBS, the story is…IT’S NOT A POTHOLE! SO WHY IS THIS RIGHT-WING EXTREMIST FILLING A MAINTENANCE TRENCH WITH INSURRECTION?!?"

That about tells you all you need to know.
