Anti-Trump movement viewed as severely weakened after 2024 election
They never had too much pull in the Republican Party, but one must admit that the anti-Trumpers were always there.
However, in the few weeks after Donald Trump triumphed over Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, their arguments are getting quieter and quieter.
At this point, it's simply foolish to try to deny Trump his spot at the top of the Republican Party.
A veteran GOP strategist and leader of the Pro-Pence Committed to America PAC commented on those Republicans who are still fighting against Trump despite what happened on Nov. 5.
"The Never Trumpers and Lincoln Project folks just need to climb back under their rocks for a few years," Scott Reed said.
Nikki Haley is an example of someone who doesn't agree with everything Trump does but knows an anti-Trump agenda won't help her climb to a higher position in the GOP right now.
Instead of always speaking out forcefully against Trump like she used to, Haley is now admitting that Trump is right about at least some things.
As anti-Trump sentiment becomes less and less popular, Republicans are only going to begin operating in greater sync with one another.
