Anheuser-Busch Lays Off Hundreds Of Workers As Bud Light Sales Slow

 July 28, 2023

Well, it's happening.

Bud Light sales have fallen so far that the company that produces it is being forced to lay off employees.

We've all heard the saying before:

"Go woke, go broke."

Bud Light leadership should have listened.

This is obviously terrible news for the hundreds of people who previously relied on Anheuser-Busch for employment.

But from a social perspective?

What a victory.

Think about it, when was the last time that conservative voters in this country were actually able to make their voice heard?

I would argue it was back in 2016 when we elected Donald J. Trump to be our president.

"While we never take these decisions lightly, we want to ensure that our organization continues to be set for future long-term success," Anheuser-Busch Chief Executive Brendan Whitworth said. "These corporate structure changes will enable our teams to focus on what we do best — brewing great beer for everyone."

Bud Light has already fallen behind Modelo Especial as the highest-selling beer in America, and sales of the product continue to drop.
