Alvin Bragg accused of trying to 'strong-arm' jury in Daniel Penny case
Donald Trump was right all along:
Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg isn't some humble public servant who puts all of his energy into making America a better place, that's just an illusion.
Bragg is actually a corrupt prosecutor who makes legal decisions based on politics rather than the law.
We've seen it in the cases involving Trump, and now we're seeing it in the case of Daniel Penny.
Penny is accused of manslaughter stemming from an incident on a subway in which he was trying to subdue an out-of-control man but ended up killing him.
Former assistant U.S. attorney Andy McCarthy does NOT think that Bragg is treating Penny fairly:
"Bragg added a baseless recklessness charge to the indictment so the jury would have two counts, increasing the odds of conviction by giving the jury something to compromise on," McCarthy wrote.
Daniel Penny is a veteran of America's armed forces, so he deserves a fair trial. It isn't clear about whether or not Bragg is providing one.
