Alaska Governor Michael Dunleavy accuses President Biden of treating Venezuela better than Alaska

March 6, 2023

Alaska Governor Michael Dunleavy tore into President Joe Biden after a leaked memo revealed the Biden administration had set the highest possible royalty fee for an oil and gas lease sale in Alaska to fight "climate change."

Dunleavy took to Twitter on Friday to say, "The war against AK & our people continues. The Biden administration won’t stop until it destroys the resource development that underpins revenue for our state. Venezuela gets better treatment by the administration than AK does. 2024 can’t come soon enough."

The Biden administration has determined that oil and gas drilling in the United States would do too much to accelerate alleged climate change.

So, the Biden administration has chosen to instead outsource our oil and gas drilling needs to foreign countries. The Biden administration's energy policy is so appalling that even Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is furious with Biden.

Manchin stated, "I am appalled by its contents, which make crystal clear that this administration is literally putting their radical climate agenda ahead of the needs of the people of Alaska and the United States."

Americans have been paying record-high prices at the pumps and energy prices are crushing American budgets. The Biden administration has multiple tools to fix these issues but refuses to act, all in the name of ideology.
