Abbott says Biden border neglect an 'impeachable offense'
On "The Ingraham Angle," Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) criticized President Joe Biden for his policies on the U.S. southern border, calling it an "impeachable offense."
“Yes or no, is this an impeachable offense — what’s he’s done to this border?” Ingraham asked.
“I believe it is,” Abbott replied. “Laura, he is failing to fulfill the duties of his office, his executive powers. He’s not executing the immigration laws that were passed by the United States Congress. I believe it is an impeachable offense.”
The Biden administration is ending Title 42 next week, making it harder to quickly deport illegal immigrants.
Republicans are worried that the border will be inundated when Title 42 ends, and that significantly more than the more than 5.5 million illegal immigrants that have already come into the country will be added to that number.
The Biden administration has done everything possible to get as many people into the country illegally, and shows no signs of reversing any of it.
