Classmate says Barron Trump 'not allowed' to join basketball game at NYU
By all accounts, Barron Trump is enjoying life as a college freshman at the Stern Business School at NYU, but one of his classmates revealed to the Irish Star that the first son isn't exactly living a normal college life.
A student shared that they asked Trump to join a basketball game on campus. "Barron seemed interested," he said, but the student sensed “he wasn’t really allowed to do stuff.”
The president's son is required to have Secret Service protection on campus, which must cramp even the most academically minded college student's style.
Trump reportedly goes to class and then goes home to the family's Trump Tower penthouse -- not exactly the lifestyle most of his fellow students experience.
Barron's enrollment at NYU is the reason why his mom, Melania Trump, is splitting her time between D.C. as first lady and New York as a college student's mom.
The president's youngest child is already dipping his toe into a number of business ventures, including real estate and cryptocurrency, and he also served as an advisor to his father during the 2024 campaign.
