Text messages from Pete Hegesth's assault accuser released
The woman who has accused Pete Hegseth of sexually assaulting her in October 2017 has had some of her text messages go public.
She apparently messaged a friend that Hegseth "creeps me out" just hours before the alleged assault.
"Do you know Pete Hegseth?" the accuser texted.
"Name sounds familiar…Who is he?" came the response.
The accuser texted back:
He is a Fox contributor. I guess does outnumbered and fox and friends. Any way our ladies are freaking drooling over him. He wears a ring on his pointer finger. It creeps me out.
A few hours later, the accuser and Hegseth were confronted by hotel staff for being loud and obnoxious late at night at the hotel pool.
Reports indicate that the woman, who reportedly did not appear to be intoxicated, lead a clearly intoxicated Hegseth to a hotel room shortly after talking with staff at the pool.
The woman would go on to accuse Hegseth of sexual assault a short time later, an allegation Hegseth has adamantly denied.
