Kamala Harris reveals #1 rule for avoiding depression
It's kind of strange that America's vice president doesn't want to connect with the citizens who voted for (or against) her, but that's exactly how Kamala Harris claims she keeps herself sane.
We should note, "sanity" is a relative concept when talking about Kamala Harris quotes.
"Well, No. 1 rule: Don’t read the comments," Harris said on the All The Smoke Podcast. "I’m serious. Don’t read the comments, let’s start there."
"For me it’s just mind, body and spirit, being intentional about who you have in your life," she explained to hosts Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, both former NBA players. "I am blessed to have an incredible family and incredible friends -- my best friend from kindergarten is still one of my best friends."
"I’m really clear about who I am, and if anybody else is not, they need to go through their own level of therapy — that’s not my issue," Harris said during her appearance. "My mother was very clear. She was raising two Black girls to be two proud Black women. And that was never -- it was never a question."
Harris is making the rounds on podcasts trying to seem more relatable?
Will it work?
Let's play our part in making sure it doesn't by voting this November.
