Donald Trump Jr. jokes about brother Barron's absence from online crypto discussion
Donald Trump Jr. made jokes on Monday about his baby brother Barron's absence from an online crypto discussion on X that would have been the first major public appearance for the college student.
The host of the discussion Farokh Sarmad, a cryptocurrency entrepreneur, said Barron couldn't make it because "we took too long. We're gonna try and get him back," he added.
"Damned teenagers!" Don Jr. joked. "I'm like the old boomer now – the grumpy old man with a white beard."
Former President Donald Trump was briefly there for part of the discussion but then left it to his sons to continue.
The discussion revolved around a new cryptocurrency business being started by the Trump brothers. Barron is listed in paperwork as the "crypto visionary."
"Barron knows so much about this," Trump said. "Barron's a young guy, but he knows -- he talks about his [crypto] wallet, he's got four wallets or something, and I'll say 'what is a wallet?' But he knows it inside out."
