Donald Trump details how Melania, Barron learned of attempt on his life
Former President Donald Trump revealed during an interview on Fox News with Mark Levin how his wife, former first lady Melania Trump, and his youngest son, Barron Trump, learned about the attempted assassination on his life.
During the interview with Levin, Trump revealed that Melania was watching his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on television at the moment that the shots rang out and Trump ducked down.
Trump also mentioned that Barron was taking tennis lessons at the time, so he thankfully was at least spared that horrific moment of watching his own father nearly die on live television.
The former president went on to explain that an unnamed person told Barron of the situation during his lesson, and he immediately ran to Melania asking what had happened, all while Trump was on stage and agents were working to rush him away from the scene.
This adds even more weight to Trump standing up and pumping his fist to the crowd. He wasn't just signaling to his supporters that he was ok, he was also signaling to his family that he had survived the attempt on his life.
He went on to talk about how it was a miracle that he had survived the shot that was mere millimeters from striking his brain. It's impossible to imagine what Trump's family felt in those moments, and Americans must remember that when confronting the violence of the Democrat Party.
