Kamala Harris runs away from Trump Fox News debate proposal
Vice President Kamala Harris has run away from a proposed debate with former President Donald Trump on Fox News which would happen on Sept. 4, ironically after accusing Trump of cowardice.
Harris instead demands that the debate be held a week later on ABC News, a much friendlier network for Democrats.
Her campaign communications director Michael Tyler stated, "Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out. He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept 10."
The debate that Trump was "running scared" from was agreed upon with Joe Biden before he bowed out in favor of Harris. So, Trump had not committed to debating Harris on Sept. 10, and it is Harris who is running from a debate on Fox News.
Trump already thrashed President Biden so badly on CNN that it caused him to drop out of the race.
Trump will beat Harris on ABC, and Democrats know it. But at least on ABC, they have a chance of favoring Harris whereas on Fox News there is even less advantage for Harris in a debate she has virtually no chance to win.
