Kevin Bacon used prosthetics to blend in as regular person

Actor Kevin Bacon will admit that since the time he was a little kid, he wanted to grow up to be a famous adult.

His father was a "big fish in a small pond" in Philadelphia when Bacon was growing up. Enough people recognized Bacon's father on the street that he swore he'd someday be more famous than his father.

He definitely accomplished his goals.

Now that he's a famous adult, he's making it very clear that he NEVER wants to go back.

Because of his distinctive face and superstar status, it's hard for Kevin Bacon to blend in like a regular person. Recently, that's exactly what he tried to do.

He was fitted with prosthetics that totally disguised him.

The result?

Bacon prefers the life of a celebrity over the live of an average civilian.

"Nobody recognized me," Bacon said of the experience. "People were kind of pushing past me, not being nice. Nobody said, ‘I love you.’ I had to wait in line to, I don’t know, buy a f---ing coffee or whatever. I was like, ‘This sucks. I want to go back to being famous.'"
