Mark Meadows pleads not guilty in AZ 'fake elector' case

 June 8, 2024

Former presidential chief of staff for then-President Donald Trump, Mark Meadows, pleaded not guilty in Phoenix on June 7 in regard to nine felony charges for his role "in an effort to overturn Trump’s Arizona election loss to Joe Biden."

Meadows appeared by videoconference before Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner Shellie Smith, who set a trial date for Oct. 31.

It's perfect that this trial starts on Halloween, as it ironically captures the spirit of a "witch hunt" that Donald Trump has been talking about for quite some time now.

Trump has been saying that he and his allies have been being unfairly targeted for years.

For a while, we didn't have a ton of proof about what Trump was talking about. After these trials, however? It's pretty clear that it's him and his friends against the entire federal liberal establishment.

What impact do you think Meadows' trial could have on Donald Trump's own legal proceedings?
