82-year-old Martha Stewart posts 'thirst trap' to Instagram

82-year-old lifestyle guru Martha Stewart ignited controversy on Friday by posting a so-called "thirst trap" on Instagram of herself posing in lacy lingerie in front of a mirror.

Stewart captioned the photo saying, "After an eight hour plane trip from westchester to palm beach- horrible by the way – we went to bed early and wore my beautiful @sabbiarosa nightgown (linen with robe)."

Many fans went wild for the picture, with one user writing, "Thirst Trap Martha is my favorite Martha."

Fenty Beauty makeup artist Priscilla Ono also commented on the picture,  saying, "Martha chill my man is on this app!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥"

While many fans seemed to enjoy Stewart's Instagram antics, some were uncomfortable with her conduct.

Stewart's behavior is unusual for a woman of her age, and some see it as a cry for help. Others believe it is beneath Stewart to behave online in this manner, but her loudly adoring fans have so far drowned out any criticism of the octogenarian's thirst trapping.
