About 1 million bees swarmed an interstate highway in Florida early Tuesday morning after a tractor-trailer collided with a bee-hauling truck from Georgia and all of the bees escaped.
The crash occurred in Duval County near the entrance to I-10 east around 3:15 a.m.
Both drivers were males in their 20s, with the bee-hauling truck driver being only 20 years old.
Neither driver was hurt in the collision, but thousands of bees remained in the area after the crash set them free.
A beekeeper was sent to the area on Tuesday morning to collect the remaining bees, and motorists were told to avoid the area so they wouldn't be stung.
Never a dull moment in Florida.
